Doctors Hospital's Emergency Department is open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week and is staffed by physicians who are trained in emergency medicine. Additional physician coverage is provided during the evening, weeekend, and holiday hours. Our professional staff is committed to providing you with efficient, high quality care and short ER wait times.

Our Emergency Department facility opened in April 1999 with state-of-the-art equipment. We have 17 private rooms with specialized areas for:

Orthopedic injuries

We treat sports and other orthopedic injuries with referrals as needed to the Sports Medicine Center.

Cardiac patients

We offer a full range of services with immediate access to the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.

Burn Patients

All burn patients are evaluated by our specially trained burn consultant while in the Emergency Department. If necessary the patient is referred to our nationally recognized Joseph M. Still Jr. Burn Center. We also provide patient follow-up for burns and other wounds through our Advanced Wound Management Center.
